Buyers give Mandalay the tick of aproval

Buyers are flocking north to the historic town of Beveridge to see what ‘Mandalay’, a cutting edge master-planned residential community, has on offer.

Construction on site has already commenced and once complete will offer residents a new standard of living with amenity including a first class Peter Thomson designed 18-hole golf course, a residents club with swimming pool, restaurant, bar, gym and more, as well as an abundance of parklands with 40 percent of the overall area dedicated to public open space.

With approximately 2000 homes earmarked for the community and the first release selling fast, Mandalay is already setting a high standard in the region with new buyers coming from across Metropolitan Melbourne as well as throughout the Shire of Mitchell.

Buyers Joseph Furfaro and his wife Diane are one of the many families who have recently bought land at Mandalay, and said that the location was one of the central reasons they were first attracted to the estate.

“ We were initially attracted to the open space, the peace and quiet of the area. Driving up the Hume Hwy and taking in the lush green landscape is such a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of suburbia.

“ Buying land at one of the first stage releases is exciting because we will be able to watch what was once a small country town of 300 people flourish with new life given the prospect of the fantastic amenities Mandalay has to offer, to see young families like mine explore the open spaces and parks will be great,” Mr Furfaro said.

Proving that forging a superior community is at the forefront of priorities, Mandalay also incorporates a proposed onsite primary school which will further encourage the development of a close-knit community where families like the Furaro’s will live, learn and grow together.

Mr Furaro said that Mandalay appealed to his family more so than anything else he saw in the area, due to the attention to detail and wide range of services that are not available at other estates they visited.

“ I work from home so the fibre optic technology provided to all of the residents will be a huge help in getting our household up and running.

“ The other major difference we noticed at Mandalay was the provision of recycled water which will allow me to maintain my garden, something I thoroughly enjoy. Having lush, green surroundings helps liven up the environment, making it an pleasurable place to live.”

Mandalay development manager Rod Binedell said prospective buyers could see the difference when they looked at the Mandalay project.
