Register now for a slice of Mandalay

March 2009

The Shire of Mitchell’s newest residential and golf course development, ‘Mandalay at Beveridge’, is currently inviting interested parties to register interest as it gears up to commence sales next month.

The first stage, offering a wide selection of homesites, is expected to commence selling in late April and with hundreds of people already registered, early signs suggest lots won’t last long.

Mandalay will offer future residents a complete lifestyle experience with great onsite amenity including ‘Club Mandalay’ an architecturally designed community hub comprising a restaurant, bar, gym, tennis courts and more.

Other plans for the development include vast open space areas of up to 40 percent of the overall development with walking paths providing easy access and linkage to parks and residential areas.

A proposed school, retail precinct, and a potential site for active retirement, will complete the masterplan that will bring an estimated 6000 people to Beveridge.

Construction has commenced across the 260.2 hectare development including works on the estate’s central feature, an 18-hole Thomson Perrett designed golf course.

Integrated seamlessly and safely among the 18-hole golf course, residential land here will be affordable and offer a variety of block sizes to suit all buyers, with many homesites offering views across the course.

Mandalay development manager, Rod Binedell, said the project had been in planning for a number of years and with earth works now progressing well, the impending launch is timely.

“ The project is significant for Beveridge and the region as a whole. We have worked closely with council to ensure it is developed and released in the most appropriate way.

“ We have been working diligently onsite now for some months and now look forward to releasing land sales next month.

“ Residents here will eventually have direct access to facilities such as the proposed school providing parents with greater assurance that their children will live and grow in a tight-knit and secure environment,” Mr Binedell said.

“ The golf course will form a central component to the community with about 29 percent, or 77 hectares, of the overall development occupied by the course.

“ And with a large percentage of homesites offering open space vistas – many of these will enjoy tranquil views across the greens,” Mr Binedell said.

Interested buyers should act now to register their details in order to stay up-to-date with Mandalay launch dates, release of land details and prices in the lead up to the official launch date in April.

Mandalay will commence sales to the general public in the coming months and are accepting expressions of interest from potential buyers through the website at: www.mandalaybeveridge.com.au or contact 1300 875 707.
